Though both HKS and Rhys Millen are preparing versions of the 2009 Hyundai Genesis Coupe for the 2008 SEMA show, Street Concepts announced it too is busy working on a customized coupe for the Las Vegas show.
Although the car was reportedly customized with the “tuner buyer” in mind, we think the exterior lends itself to those with a taste for camouflage.; The grey-on-black paint scheme, reportedly inspired by stealth fighters (which, interestingly, don’t use camo), is accentuated by a new grille, tinted taillights, and a spoiler sourced from APR.
In addition, the Street Concepts Genesis will wear 19-inch wheels, a custom-tuned suspension, Brembo brakes, and a Magnaflow cat-back exhaust.; Though we don’t have any firm figures, we’re told the exhaust will give a slight boost to the 3.6-liter V-6.
We’re also told the car’s interior will have the usual carbon-fiber accents and a powerful Infinity stereo system, but we’ll see for ourselves when we cover the show in early November.; Stay with Automobile Magazine for the latest on all the wild wheels destined for SEMA.
