If there’s one thing to notice about pickup trucks, it’s the incredible level of customization that so many owners dial in. My personal truck (a 1985 Toyota) is modified within an inch of its life for better performance off-road. My father just bought a 2008 GMC Sierra and he’s already planning a bedliner, tonneau cover, and other accessories to personalize his new vehicle.
Looking over the list of accessories for the 2009 Hummer H3T has me drooling. It’s not just that the H3T can be kitted out for an endless variety of work or recreational missions, but so many of these accessories will be available at launch. Better yet, you could order the parts from your dealer and have it all installed when you take delivery of the truck, which saves a lot of time in the garage.
Want to outfit your truck for maximum off-road fun? Simply order the underbody protection parts, perhaps a cat-back exhaust, some auxiliary off-road lights, and some upgraded floor mats. There’s not really much more this truck would need to tackle the trails.
I’m sure at least a few of these trucks will be heading to the SEMA show and I can’t wait to see how the tuners modify the newest Hummer.
