If you’re looking for a basic 2009 Dodge Ram pickup with a 3.7-liter V6 engine, rear-wheel drive, and a regular cab, you’ll need to scrape together just over $22,000. The more popular configuration of a quad cab truck and the sport trim with four-wheel drive and the 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 will set you back $37,515.
Dodge has reduced the sticker price on Rams for 2009 and also increased the amount of standard equipment over the 2008 model. The pricing for individual options hasn’t been announced and Dodge is offering all sorts of options on the new Ram. Everything from heated and cooled front seats to Sirius backseat TV is available on the Ram at extra cost.
The crew cab configuration is totally new for Dodge and the prices range from $32,530 for a base 4×2 SLT crew cab to $44,140 for a Laramie 4×4 crew cab with the 5.7-liter Hemi V-8. The crew cab segment is the most popular with buyers and carries the highest sticker prices.
The pricing for any truck is pretty complicated due to the myriad configurations of cab, bed, and engine size, so potential buyers should head to the nearest Dodge dealer to get some help specing out that dream truck.
