Honda is working on its first-ever concept version of the best-selling Accord. Look for it next month at NAIAS in Detroit.
Despite the fact that it is Honda’s best-selling model in North America, there has never been a concept version of the Accord shown at a major auto show. That all changes at this year’s North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
Shown here is a sketch of a concept that previews the next-generation Accord coupe, due out some time next year. From the looks of it, the next Accord will move toward a more aggressive stance, becoming a fun alternative to the Toyota Camry, rather than just another boring competitor. Nissan would be wise to get their hot new Altima coupe to market as soon as possible. If the next Accord coupe looks anything like this BMW 335i-like concept, it’s going to be hard to beat.
